French antique framed meerschaum depicitng Mary with the Immaculate Heart.
Black painted wood frame with light wood details.  
Domed glass.
Cross at the top and porcelain shell-shaped Holy water font at the bottom.
 
Imperfection and wear commensurate with age.
Some scratches, marks and small chips on the frame. 
There are several little insect holes (the insects are long gone). The varnish is gone in small places.

The domed glass has some imperfections from age and use. 
One very long scratch in the middle. I can't feel it though so it migh be inside.
The porcelain receptacle has some imperfections in the glaze as seen in the photographs. The nail attaching it to the frame has rusted and stained the porcelain around it. Small marks of age and wear.
The meerschaum seems in good condition with only some tiny brown spots here and there.
Paper backing was torn and the back is made of  three different pieces of wood kept in place with nails. It leaves some gaps so some dust found its way under the glass.
The loop was broken so a previous owner attached a piece of string to hang on the wall.
