Antique large crucifix with carved wood Corpus Christi. The wood is incredibly light and I was told it was linden wood. 

Jesus is depicted head down with eyes closed. Traces of red paint on the hands and feet.
The cross must have been attached to a base judging by the shape and traces at the bottom.
There is aso a small hole at the top so it could be hung. It was probably added after is was removed from its original base.
At the bottom, the wood of the cross is the same colour as the Corpus Christi. 

It looks like two layers of paint (?) were applied on large parts of the cross. It gives a different texture and colours. The paint has discoloured and faded with time. It is very worn as seen in the photographs and not even.
The wood is worn, stained and scratched. There is some encrusted dust in the folds.
A small hole at one arm visible in the photographs.
Imperfections in the wood at the back (holes and natural imperfections).
