An antique French  Napoleon III style crucifix brooch pinned to a leather bound photo frame with original Victorian photos of a lady and a gentleman. 
The brooch is small and interesting by itself- made of yellow cast metal with bronze colored highlights at the crucifix arm ends. There is some discoloration from age and the pin-clasp works well though it has some surface rust. The brooch can be detached from the frame easily.
The frame is leather bound with a card backing and a simple rustic loop for hanging. Although it has a folding armature to stand, this has been pinned shut at some point. There are some cracks and warping to the surface and wear especially at the edges.
