Rare French antique button for a psychitaric hospital staff uniform.

They are all marked in French 'Asile clinique'. 
I have other asylum buttons available in my shop.
 
The buttons have a diameter of 1.7 cm / 0.39 inches. They have no marking at the back.
 
In French asylums, the nurses' overcoats were abandonned in the very early 20th century and replaced by jackets with removable buttons.
 
The buttons all have marks of use and age: dark stains, scratches, tarnish, small dents, wear etc.
The gold colour has almost completely faded. The colour is not even anymore and they have a lovely patina.
These buttons are really rare.

Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
