Vintage ladies evening dress from the 1930s/1940s.
Silk and cotton faille.
The faille is red and black weave giving a shimmering burgundy effect.
3/4 sleeves.
Pleats to the collar with diamanté clasps on either side.
Pleated throughout but some pleats have lost their shape over time.
Closure on the side with poppers.
Some small damage (at the back of the neck, on the side...) as seen in the photographs.
No brand. Certainly made for someone personally.

At the belt 17" / 43 cm
Total length down the back 45" / 114 cm
