Small reliquary frame and font, dedicated to St Thomas de Biville or Thomas Hélye.

The oval frame is black wood and has seen some insect damage in the past (long gone!). Attached with metal wire is a small crucifix above and a mother of pearl font below. The metal has spots of corrosion from age.

The glass is domed and looks intact. Underneath is an image of Thomas and his church at Vauville on a black velvet background with decorative gold stitching.
It reads "Mort a Vauville en 1327" which is erroneous - he died there in 1257!
Backing is plain thick card.

Total height 20.5cm/ 8"
Oval: 14x12cm/ 5.6x4.8"
