Pair of graveyard vases with a beautiful verdigris patina.
French, late 19th Century. Marked MA, an abbreviation for Mater Amabilis "Loving Mother" a title for Mary the Holy Virgin.
This pair has several cracks as seen on the pictures and is quite fragile. The bases were once filled with lead but the bottoms were removed. They are therefore very light.

Cm: 35cm tall, 14cm base, 14.5cm opening, 18.5 cm wide
Inches: 14 tall, 5.5 base, 5.75 opening, 7.25 wide
