Stunning porcelain angel Holy water font. Late 19th / early 20th century.

It is the largest font I have ever had with a height of 43 cm / 16.92 inches and a width of 17.5 cm / 6.69 inches.

The angel is on his knees and holding a small cross. His face is beautifully detailed. The robe is painted in gold but it has faded in places as can be seen in the photographs.
The water recipient is resting on top of a small dragon.
The hand painted colours are still vivid.

Some small imperfections commensurate with age and use but nothing too major.

It is truly a spectacular piece ready to be hung in a new home!
