French antique reliquary pendant. It does not contain relics.
The front has an open part with glass underneath. It has cherubs all around. 
The back features the face of Christ (profile).
 
It opens and has two holes on each side for the threads to attach relics to a wax seal.
A previous owner cut an image of the Sacred Heart to fit inside. The image and the glass are cut irregularly. The glass has chips  (not visible when the reliquary is closed) and marks.

Small loops at the top to hang. Thread attached.
The metal was once painted gold and some traces are left. 
It has tarnished in places and the front is very worn. The details are smoothed.
There are small dents, distortion and imperfections.
