French antique framed portrait of Jesus with a child.

The hand of Jesus seems to be missing two fingers and the head of the child is not complete. It might have been done that way or broken before it was framed?

Calcareous stone or plaster.

Glass has some scratches and marks commensurate with age.
Some dust under the glass.
Metal frame has imperfections.
Filled at the back with a different material by a previous owner.
Loop at the top so it can be hung or worn as a large pendant.
