Rare antique church lantern with bell.
It has been used a lot judging by its condion.
Bell is rusty but produces a lovely sound.
Top part can be removed to access the candle holder.
The glass cylinder is in good condition. Very thick with some imperfections, marks and tiny chips around the edges. It can be removed by the top.
The metal has been repaired as can be seen on the photographs. The colour is not even
Traces of corrosion (especially inside and at bottom of the lid), scratches and stains. 
Some distortion (nothing is straight anymore!) and dents too.
The fleur de lys border at the top is not completely attached anymore. the one at the bottom has one flower missing.
A beautiful and very unusual find!
