Antique Virgin Mary white plaster statue.
Marked '8 décembre 1854' on the base. The Virgin of December celebrates the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is universally celebrated on December 8, nine months before the feast of the Nativity of Mary.

She is stepping on the snake holding the apple in its mouth.

There are some chips, cracks and stains. The base has some larger parts missing. Her nose is broken.
