Antique stand used on a church altar in its wooden crate.

The crate is marked 'Sacristie' in pencil at the front.
It is lined with yellow material. Some stains.
The hooks and loops used to close are a bit distorted and rusty. The hinges are rusty too.
Imperfections and marks to the light wood.

The stand is made of card and wood that is covered with white cotton.
The Christogram and four crosses made of gold material are applied to it.
Gold beads, stars and strass are used to decorate.

Some heavy damages on the gold beads.
Some are missing. Large parts need to be restitched as seen in the photographs.
There are some loose beads in the box.
Some strass are missing too.

Staining and imperfections on the white cotton. Hand stitches are visible.

It is a very beautiful and unusual object that needs a bit of care! I have left it as I found it.
