Antique church procession lantern. Gold painted tole.
Six windows with glass.
Metal label at the bottom with two names and a date: 'René Nameche et Jean Dominique Moyart. 4 juin 1928' 

The top part can be lifted and you can access the candle holder. A piece at the bottom can also be removed.

The glass parts can be removed by bending the metal 'hooks' inside. 
Some chips but not visible when they are in place.

Heavy signs of age and use with scratches, corrosion spots and stains.
Gold has faded in places.
Distortion (nothing is quite straight) and dents. The cross has a small hole and some corrosion marks.

Height of lantern without handle: 33 cm / 12.99 inches
Diameter at base: 15.3 cm / 6 inches
