Antique church procession lantern. It is supposed to be placed on a wooden pole. Gold painted tole.
The lantern swivels.
Six windows with glass: three white with crosses and three coloured (amber, blue and dark pink).
One glass panel has a loop at the top so it can be lifted and you can access the candle holder.
Heavy signs of age and use. White and green marks, scratches, stains. 
The glass is dirty and as 5 panels can't be removed, it's very hard to clean. 
Wax inside.
Gold has faded in places.
Total height: 60 cm / 23.6 inches
