Antique catholic priest's chasuble, sourced from France. 
Beautiful black velvet with embroideries and decorated trim.
It has the Christogram IHS embroidered at the back in very light yellow / gold thread.
The trim appears to be light grey / silver.
The outside is in good condition with only tiny signs of wear.
The black lining is damaged as can be seen in the photographs: small holes, damaged edges and repairs. 
It is especially damaged around the neck. White stain at the neck too.
Length from neck down at the back approx.: 100 cm / 39.37 inches
