Antique black organdy dress. Probably from the 1930s according to the previous owner but it could be a bit later.
The sheer material is folded and stitched to create some nice stripes. I have worn it over a green dress so the effect is really visible.

One small button at the collar. Three snap buttons at the waist on one side.
Lovely fabric covered buttons and loops at the cuffs.

Beautiful dress to be worn on top of a slip / underdress.

The seams of the sleeves have been restitched by hand in places. The seam is not completely straight and perfect but that is not visible when the dress is worn.
Small imperfections from wear are possible.
