Antique 1920s style black flapper dress.
Beautifully patched and faded.
Cut is quite straight with beautiful and very special pleating work around the lower half.
White Peter Pan collar has some slight yellow marks and 2 rust spots. Stitched by hand to the dress.
Decorative fabric covered buttons. Popper buttons are used down the front and at the cuffs. They still work properly but some are corroded.

Antique item so some aging should be expected. Beautiful repairs at the waist. Some wear too. One large patch at the back. Panel for the mid section of the dress (around the waist/ hips) has faded and discoloured to brown / orange.

This dress is really stunning and unique!
