Vintage Sacred Heart of Jesus statue on marble base.
The painted metal now has a colour like a patinated bronze but it was probably gold originally (some gold is visible in tiny places). Large scratches in the paint show that the metal is silver coloured underneath.
Jesus is portrayed standing with both arms open and the Sacred Heart on his chest.
He is standing on clouds. The chalice and crown of thorns are represented at his feet.
The statue is marked DRC at the back.
On a stone or marble base with metal underneath. The base is chipped and has some stains and scratches.
The metal also has some marks and stains.
There is a hole at the back of his head as a halo might have been attached originally.
Overall height: approx. 22.3 cm / 8.66 inches
