Small missal or Catholic prayer book bound in green leather. Monogrammed inside.
'Missel de Notre Dame de France', published in 1902 by Mame in Tours, France. 
It contains 4 full-page black and white engravings protected by tissue paper. The reverse of the illustrated page has the same image but in brownish tint (and also protected by paper).
There are beautiful illustrated borders on each page.
The texts are in French mostly but some texts are in Latin too. 
The missal has been heavily used and shows some sign of age and wear.
Some scraches, stains and wear on the leather cover. The spine and corners are especially worn.
The edges of the paper block are gold but they are worn and stained.
The pages have many fold marks and creases.
Foxing and yellowing in places. 
Some larger stains on some pages in the middle of the missal. They might have been caused by heavy use and a liquid.
Book mark and two Holy cards left by a previous owner.
Size of book: 15.2 x 11.7 x 3.2 cm / 5.90 x 4.33 x 1.18 inches

Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
